Chemical Dust Control

integratedAIR Filtration design and supply dust and fume control for multiple applications in the chemical industry. Chemical contaminants can range from coarse grit, to fine particulates, to mists and fumes.

Our BlueClean® filter units have a range of filter media and options to ensure that our filter unit will fit your client's business needs, providing safe and efficient dust control. Due to the nature of the industry, they uphold strict health and safety requirements. We ensure that our dust filter units and the system we provide meet 'good manufacturing practice (GMP)' along with DSEAR and ATEX guidelines when applicable.

COSSH Regulations

All chemicals used within the industry will have a Workplace Exposure Limit (WEL) and are specified in the EH40 document. The WEL level of dust permitted within a workspace vary with each substance but generally ones within the chemical industry have lower WEL exposure levels which are considered to be more harmful to health.

You have a legal obligation under COSSH to control emissions in the workplace and protect your employees from the dust and fumes created within the industry, whether through inhalation or the skin. Without the proper dust control the consequences can be severe, leading to a reduced quality of life and in some instances reduced lifespan of those exposed to the contaminant.
